About the project
Gameboy Retreat is our own business: a Stockton shop that restores broken Game Boys and other Nintendo handhelds and ships them nationwide. Every console is stripped, cleaned, rehoused, and repaired by hand, then tested before it ships.
Restored consoles sell on trust and personality. The shop needed to show exactly what is ready to ship, back every unit with a warranty, and give collectors a reason to remember the site.
We built a full store with product listings, a cart, restock alerts, and a "Sell to us" page for people with broken handhelds. Then we added Game Boy Mode, where the entire shop runs inside an interactive Game Boy Advance SP: you browse with the D-pad and buy with the A button.
